Do you believe people are born to lead or do they become leaders? This is psychologiacal and socialogical matter. Scientists are also debating this, mostly the debate is about what is more important in the creation of a person's character: his genes, or the way he was raised? One part says they could make whatever they want out of a child with the proper training, the other part of the scientists say that inheritance has the greater role. So what do you think? Are people born to be what they are (in this case leaders, but being a leader, doesn't have to be the main topic of debate here) or are they made to be what the are/will become?

No I don't agree that you are a born leader. I feel that if you are raised properly and develope skills you can become a leader but not neccesarily a good one. You need a lot of attributes to become a good leader. There is a vast difference between Leader and Dictator and a lot of leaders unfortunately become Dictators.

You can't be born to lead you are molded into a leader by your family(mainly parents)! E.g If my family took no interest in the Prime minister there is a slim to no chance of me wanting to become that when I grow up!

Ok, I think that you are born with some traits that will help you become a leader. You'd have to be smart, creative, and the such. But there's lots to be taught, as well. You need to understand people, and make nations, or even tiny things that you lead, a better place.

I don't think people are born to be a leader, unless they want to be one, i don't want to be a leader, because i don't like all the responsibilities i have to take care of when i'm a leader. I think that people are born to enjoy their life and be happy, at least, thats what i think. So if they think being a leader makes them happy then they are born to be a leader.

I'm not saying this because I'm the Admin of this forum, but I'm a leader, and a good one, too.

Whenever our BB (Equivalent to Scouts) goes on an expedition, I love to lead the way, doing the map work, and letting people know what to do.

It take discipline to make a child a leader you are not born a leader.

I agree with FGCB, but I also think that there are sevral types of leaders. there's the kind of leader that stands up and is in front, there's the leader that gets people all hyped up,p there are emotional leaders and there are the kind who are in the back makeing sure no one falls behind. Takeing all of these into concideration, I think leadership is something you bring oppon your self by utaliseing your born traits and makeing the best of what you have.

I think nobody is born to be a leader but its cuz of the influence of the parentz and the surroundings that make somebody a leader or not.
